( These trains will be accompanied by a detail of returned soldiers. At most of the places as which these trains will - stop special Victory Liberty loan meetings have been arranged by the local j committees.—and in most instance* j speakers of wile repute wiM make ad- ■ dresses. Illinois report* indicate the workers are on their toe* in readiness for the real campaign to start, as they are confident they will repeat their achievements of x the previous popular loan campaigns. The state will be covered by the war exhibition trains, by leading speakers and a military or naval bjmffr ~ A lively dhd enthusiastic campaign has been under way In Michigan for some time. State official* have been on the job under the leadership of State Director of Sale* Frederick R. Fenton. Kvery county has been tboronghly organized and reports are optimistic. County meetings have been largely attended, and at the public ’nestings held so far there has been ,o lack of enthusiasm. Every county In the state will be visited by the new United Staten army tanka. Great Interest I* being displayed In these Instruments es modern warfare. In conjunction with the speaking campaign, lows towns and cities will he visited by a war exhibition train almilar to those touring other states, and there will he a *eparate tonr of a band and drill squad from the Great Lakes Naval Trailing station. As In other states, the county meetings have been well attended by the focal workers. and public meetings have shown no lessening of enthusiasm as compared to previous loans. Notable speakers are touring the state. in Indiana the new United Stares battle tanks are touring the state, going Overland from town to town. They have crea'ed a veritable sensatiod along the country highways. The state will also have a war exhibit train, as well a» nationally known speakers. A onmber of enthusiastic meetings have been held to date- Wisconsin leaders ret**rr everything in 1 shape for a rousing subscription drive. War exhibit train* with tanks and bands, are enlivening the campaign and are stirring up much enthusiasm.
