Mrs W. E. Poole was called to Strawn, 111-, last week on account of the serious sickness of her mother. Mrs. Charles Bussel returned to Hammond Wednesday after a visit since Saturday with Mrs. Verne E. Bussell and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Morecraft are moving into one of S- E. Cook s houses in McCoysburg. Mrs. Clarence Garrison spent Wednesday with her father at Herchell Rays. Mrs. Mary E. Lowe, Mrs. Charles W. Bussell and Mrs. Verne Bussell visited Monday with Charles Whittaker and family/The school closed at McCoysburg Wednesday with the usual big dinner and program iru«Ae afternoon. The patrons of the school would all like to see Miss Tilton teach the school again next year. Mrs. Van Wood and daughter Dorthea visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Phillips Wednesday and attended the big dinner on the last day of schoolFrank McDonald, who has been m the navy the past eight years and who is now on the reserve force, is visiting friends and relatives here. Relatives and friends gathered at the home of Roy Cochran Wednesday evening with well filled baskets to remind Mrs. Cochran that it was her birthday. * • • , „ ’ Mrs. Charles W.
