JEWELS RECOVERED; &500 REWARD IS PAID

Jewels said to be valued at $lO,000, belonging to Mrs.- Cecil G. Fowler, of Lafayette, which were lost in Chicago Thursday when Mr. and Mrs. Fowler and H. H. Dunbar were returning to Lafayette in an automobile, have been found and SSOO reward was paid to Mrs. Charles Greise, of Chicago Heights, who found the bag and notified the owners immediately after the papers of Chicago published the story of the loss. The jewels were lost in a week-end case which was removed from the car when it became necessary to get the side curtains from under the tonneau seat, and was not replaced in the auto before the party drove away. The jewels, it is said, are very valuable to the Fowler family because of sentimental reasons.
