The county commissioners finished their April term Monday. The following business was transacted: Bridge* All matters pending continued. Road*.~ The following contractors asked that their respective contracts be cancelled as provided by a law passed by the last Indiana legislature: No. 3012 Judson J. Adams Stone Road, Harry E. Gifford, contractor. 2970—-Carry L. Carr Stone Road W. V. Porter, contractor. 3013—William Folger Stone Road, Harry E. Gifford, contractor. 2916—Maurice E. Gorman Stone F. A. Camblin, contractor. 2711 —J. W. Hitchings Stone Road, F. A. Cambline, contractor. 2992—Frank Hoover Stone Road, Harry E. Gifford, contractor. 2969 —James Lane Stone Road, Walter V. Porter, contractor. 2987 —Granville Moody Stone Road, Harry E. Gifford, contractor. 3010—John F. Payne Stone Road, George Stalbaum, contractor. 2928 —W. L. Wood, Stone Road, Moneyhun & Son, contractor. 3194—Burtis C. Eldridge, Stone Road, supplemental report examined and approved. Expense account allowed. „ 1950 —E. M. Goff Drain Eng., W. Osborne filed final report showing amount collected $517.50, expenses $467, balance $50.50, which was allowed Osborne for services rendered. Caused dropped. 1982—Washington S. Lowman Drain. Engineer, W. Frank Osborne filed final report showing amount collected $3058.45, expenses $2971.98, balance $85.47, which amount was allowed Eng Osborne for services. Cause dropped. 3143 — A. I. Sargent Drain. Publication found sufficient. W. H. Tyler and Christian L. Fritts signed waiver of service. Petition ordered re-advertised. 3193—Mrs. John M. Wasson Dram. No remonstraces or objection being on file to petition or drainage commissioners. Board examined petition and fine same in due form and sufficient, and refer same to Ed. Nesbitt, county surveyor, B. Frank Alter Drainage commissioner and John Nowels Third commissioner.' Said commissioners to meet at the office of the county Auditor April 14 to oualify and to report at the first day of the May term. ’

Anna Elder, Mrs. Lyman Zea and Rosa CU Trustee Burdett Porter, of Caroenter township was granted right to extend additional aid to the amount of 15 to Peter Mann and Mrs. Bartlet Report of the board of trutees of the county hospital was examined and approved.
