Emil and Henry Heilscher, who had been visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mira. Guss Heilscher, west of this city left today for Duluth, Minn.; where they will be employed in the ship yards. , ”1 e lll^1 " l " 1 r 7" ~ - G. C. Brown, son-in-law of Mr. and Firman Rutherford, went to Monon today to pack his household goods preparatory to, halving them shipped to Gary where he is employed in the steel mills. Mrs. Susie Harmon has rented the former Conrad Kellner residence on Scott street. Mr. John J. Eddy and family will move into the property vacated by Mrs. Harmon, this residence being the property of Mrs. Eddy. Mrs. C. E. Brunton, who had been at the Wabash Valley sanitarium at Lafayette for the past four weeks arrived here this morning very much improved in health. She was met by her husband. They live between Mt. Ayr and Morocco. Thomas Knox and B. T. Lanham have received letters from the War Department asking what disposition they wish made of the remains of their sons who died while in the service. The government is sending similar letters to the parents of all the American boys who died while ■fighting for their country’s cause. Plans have been made to return the remains .to this country from France. Those who so desire may have the remains placed in the French national cemetery, where the graves will receive just as much attention as if they were in this country, or returned to this country and buripd at the national ■ cemetery in Washington, D. C., or to the home of the parents.
