Mr. and Mrs. Barney Gillespie went to Chicago Saturday for a few days visit. Dick Bowie, who lately returned from overseas, was in town Monday. Melvin Packs and Bert Ahlgrim, of Hammond, visited here Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Erne Parks. Albert De Fries and wife visited here Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Cyphers. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Best are here visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Floyd. R. N. Dunn and family have moved to Hammond. Chas Freels, of Pullman, visited relatives here Sunday. Frank Hall returned from South Dakota Monday. Mrs. Ora Sehillo, of Hammond, is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cobb. Adolph Pewestbrff visited Sunday at Kersey, with Mr. and Mrs. John Drenth. Mayor B. F. Hayes and wife, of Crown Point, and Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Clark and son were guests of Bernice Clark, Sunday. Mrs. Martha Marble returned on Monday from Boston, where she has been visiting her grandson, Horace Ott, who is attending school at Harvard university. The Col-Luck club will meet with Mrs. E. Gosch on Thursday, at Sunnyside farm. The last one was a great success and this one will be better than the last. Curtins three piece orchestra dance at Konovsky’s hall, Saturday evening, April 5.
