CHANGE IN TIME UNIVERSALLY DISLIKED.
The change in the time and the foolishness of setting all time pieces ahead one hour is very disgusting to everybody. Last year while the war was on there was no complaint. If the government had asked us to eat off our bed and to have slept on our tables we would have done so. 'We wanted to be patriotic and all obeyed With childish simplicity the governments orders, many of which were indeed childishness. :But what sense or excuse there can be to be out 'of harmony with nature and not to follow the natural order of things where there is not a scintilla of benefit derived from the change is a matter difficult to understand. Our neighboring town, Brook, refuses to make this silly change and the farmers of this community are using time indicated by the Ahnighty as he caused the planets to move in order through the ages. The first thing we know this administration will have the moon and the sun change places. They may have the rains go’ upward and reverse the flow of the rivers. We may be required to put fire in our refrigerators in the summer time and ice in our furnaces in the winter.
