THURSDAY HOSPITAL NOTES.
E. D. Rhoads does not improve and his condition is still serious. Ruth, the three-year-old daughter of Clay Dewees, of Jordan township, is very ill with pneumonia’. Mr. A. K. Hart and family, of Kniman, who have been quite sick with the influenza, are improving. Clyde Shand, of Rerriington, Mrs. John Anderson, of Mt. Ayr, Mrs. John Kresler, Mrs. A. W. Baker and baby and Joseph Fitzhugh are improving. Maggie Gleason entered the hospital Wednesday for medical treatment and possible operation. Luvie Gunyon, the surgical nurse and operator of the X-ray machine, has resigned to accept a place in the Methodist hospital at Mitchell, S. D. The superintendent and (trustees regret very much to be deprived of the services of Miss Gunyon, but the salary offered by the western institution was very much larger than the hospital here felt able to pay. The trustees met in regular session Thursday evening.
