MISS IVY IRVIN MARRIED IN PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
Hie following announcement of the marriage of Miss Ivy Irvin, of Chicago, at Palm Beach, Florida, is gleaned from the Palm Beach Life of February 27, and should prove of interest to the people of this city. Miss Irvin was a frequent visitor here as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Van R,_ Grant and Mrs. W. H. Eger: “Yesterday morning at 9 o’clock, in the study of the Congregational church, Miss Ivy Irvin, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Irvin, of Chicago, became the bride of Mr. G. T. Christie-Henderson, Dr. C. H. Pettijoe officiating. Miss Irvin was gowned in a dainty frock Of white organdie, and wore a white lace hat. She carried a boquet of white sweet peas. Her only attendant, Miss Grace Jacobs, of Chicago, wore pink argandie with a boquet of blue sweet peas. 'Mr. Christie-Henderson’s best man was Mr. Charles B. Watkins. Present at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Irvin, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Pierce and Mrs. A. F. Heinem&n, of Valparaiso, Indiana, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Hunt and daughter, Mrs. Snow,, and Mrs. W. H. Eger, of Rensselaer." Mrs. Christie-Henderson is , well known in this city, having been a regular winter resident here for a number of years. Last year she Was the junior member of the popular nullinery firm, MacMannan & Irvin, but, the little god of love robbed her of her partner last spring, so this spring she has operated the same business under the name of “Betty Irvin. Mr. Christie-Henderson, who has been a resident here for the past yejfr, has made a large number of friends, who extend to him and his wife their heartiest wishes for long life and happiness.” *
