If February had been treated the same as the rest of the months and hadn’t been short-changed out of two or three days, this wouldn’t be the last day of the month, but as it is, it is, and we are forced to welcome March Saturday. The White'county jail at Monticello has been condemned by the grand jury. Six representative men living in various sections of the county, after taking oath to do their lawful duty, visited and inspected the present jail and the nreduced in writing their view concerning it. Immediate action to move the structure is expected to be taken. You should see the swell we have taken measures for.
