FAIL TO SETTLE PRICE ON MARCH HOGS
Washington, Feb. 26.—Decision as to the continuance of the food administration’s minimum hog price policy after midnight Friday, expected today by Frank S. Snyder, chief of the meat division, will not be made until President Wilson has determined the question of embargoes affecting neutrals and other countries. This became known tonight after food administration officials had conferred with the war trade board and later with President Wilson at the White House during the meeting oi the “war cabinet.” - Mr. Snyder had announced that a statement concerning ces beTmade > during the day, but White House conference, food administration officials explained there would be no further need of maintaining a minimum price if the world markets could be opened up to free trading in pork.
