, An ambitious plan for rebuilding Saloniki was outlined recently by Mr. Thomas H. Mawson at King’s college, London. ’ Salonlki, he said, had been devastated by a great fire, and it had been detided to rebuild it on such a Scale as to make it one of the most important cities in the East. M. VenIzelos had determined to make it a more beautiful city.
