Lawrence, Kan.—Silk stockings are a thing of the past In the women’s gymnasium bf Kansas here, the ban having been one of the first rules placed by the' authorities recently. Hereafter all girls in the gym classes must wear cotton stockings. The new rule is made in the interest of uniformity, economy and democracy.
