Private William Jenkins returned to his home in Kniman Monday. Mrs. Edward Sekema and Miss Clara Boeima, Of Roselawn, were in Rensselaer Monday. Edward Titus is again at his post as third trick operator at the Monon station after a visit with relatives in lowa. _ F. S. Lee, who had been the guest of the family of C. Earl Duvall', went to Chicago Monday afternoon. Mr. Lee is a brother of Mrs. Duvall. Mrs. C. E. oLytle, of Chicago, is the guest of the family of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Platt, and will also attend the Nesius-BeH wedding. The Rev. J. C. Sebring and wife returned today to their home in Medaryville, after a visit here with Mrs. William Washburn, the Rev. Sebring’s sister. Mrs. Harry B. Murray is in Gary with her son, Morton Murray, and family. She was called there on account of the sickness of her granddaughter, Cecelia, who has the influenza. Mrs! Ida Benjamin has Received a letter from Mrs. C. L. Benjamin, of Pomona, California, in which the latter says that her son, Merle, has fully recovered from his recent sickness and is now back at his work.
E. G. MtcCudlen, of Wolcott, called upon H. H. Potter, manager of the Farmers Grain Co., Monday evening. Today Mr. McCullen continued to Chicago.
