HIGH SCHOOL NOTES.
“Got beat, dlidn’t cha?” How many times have we 'had that remark thro wed at us after a defeat? People who say such things as that show thd players and rooters what kind of backing Rensselaer is giving its high school. Brook, that little town about onehalf the size of Rensselaer, cleared $l5O on Friday’s game. How many business men of Rensselaer ever think of attending a game? A specialtrain has been chartered by the citizens of Brook for a coming game, while the extent of the loyalty of Rensselaer citizens is allowing Students to place posters in their windows. Perhaps the playing was not top notch or theboys not in the best condition, but bhtey have a good record and still have a chance for the tournament. Kurrie returned to Chicago Friday evening after spending the day with:.Mr; and Mrs. Simon Thompson. Sydney Johnson arrived here Friday evening from Taylor, Ky., Where he had received an-bohorable discharge from the army. mr. Johnson spent the larger part of his army service at Camp Sheridan, Alabama, Where he was a cook instructor. -
