SELLS MORE TEXAS LAND Harvey Davisson returned from McAllen, Texas, Friday evening, accompanied by Korah Potts, to whom he sold twenty acres of land. He also sold to John Mauck ten acres adjoining the city This piece of land is already rented at $50.00 per acre per annum. Mr. and Mrs. John Mauck did not return to Rensselaer, but stopped off at Kansas City, Mo., where they expect to spend two months with relatives. The McCall Co., of Kansas City, who are handling the Rio Grande Valley Land, sold on this one trip over $300,000.00 worth of land. There were alto six other large companies with prospects in this valley at the time Mr. Davisson was there. The total number of prospects were more than fifteen hundred people. The farm work is progressing nicer dy down there. Farmers are planting corn, making hay and gathering fruit of which there is a very abundant crop-
