PRACTICE CLEANLINESS
Chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and pigeons are susceptible to many diseases, JKome of which are highly Infectious. Disease germs pass rapidly from bird to bird of the flock, and may be -carried by one means or another to neighboring fiocks, producing extensive Outbreaks, or epizootics. Sanitary and other measures which Jiave been found successful in the control of poultry diseases may materially reduce the great annual losses in fiocks if they are properly applied.
