Twenty pure-bred Duroc gilts were distributed to Greene county boys on Jan. 4. The gilts were obtained from ten pig dub boys who received pure-bred animals last year and who then turned back as pay for the original pigs two gilts from their litters of pigs. The club has resulted in the establishment of several purebred herds of Durocs and several more herds are expected to result from the growth of the dub.
