With the appointment of M. B. Weeks, director of surveys of the provincial' government of Saskatchewan, as director of town planning and rural development, the new townplanning act will be more available, and more attention will be paid in the future to insure that new town sites are laid out from their inception oh lines which will lend themselves to modern conditions of town building. An important provision is the prohibition of 25-foot lots either for business or residential purposes.'
