Floyd Gibbons, the famous correspondent of the Chicago Tribune, who lost an eye at the front, tells a good story of an American:. “I met a Kansas boy,” said Mr. GIV bons, “among troOps fighting in the Villers Cotteret forest, July 19. He was interviewing German prisohers. To one who appeared to be a rather superior type he addressed the question in German t~. “What outfit do you belong to?"
