Mr. and Mrs. Henry .Doan returned to their home at Kniman after visiting their daughters, Mrs. Richard Shirer and Mrs. John Warren. Laura Flora came down from Roselawn Friday to see her sister, Mrs. Lewis, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis are missionary workers and will leave for India soon. Harry Newman was called to a hospital at Decatur, 111., Monday, by the serious illness of his son, Roy, who lives at Forrest, 111. His son is married and has two children. He has typhoid pneumonia and has been sick for eight weeks. She was 47 years/ 11 months and 18 days old. Her body was shipped to Rome City today and a sister from the college accompanied it to that place.
