ANOTHER SOLDIER OFF TO WAR
Kersey Kirk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kirk, left this forenoon for Camp Polk, Raleigh, 8. C., where he will enter the tank service. Jesse Ncihols, clerk of the Jasper circuit court, has just received word of the death of hi§ nephew, Ray Nichols. Ray had been in the Now York naval yards and had been in the navy for seven years. He died Thursday, October 31, after a very short illness with influensa. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Nichols, both of whom are dead. .
