Kansas City, Kafi.—Two Kansas champions, the best pastry cook in the state and the best dishwasher in the state, were married here recently. Francis A. Davis, seventy, a veteran of the Civil war and chief pastry cook at the Soldiers’ home at Leavenworth, Kan., and Mrs. Ida N. Wilson, fortynine, a widow employed as a dishwasher at the home were the parties.
