JACKIES BAND HERE TONIGHT

PART OF FAMOUS GREAT LAKES MUSICAL ORGANIZATION TO BE GUESTS OF THIS CITY.

Rensselaer and vicinity will turn out en masse this evening to welcome the Jackies band from the Great Lakes Naval Training station, which will render one of their ever delightful concerts in this city. The band is touring Indiana in the interest of the Fourth Liberty Loan drive, and Rensselaer feels fortunate, indeed, in being one of the cities thus recognized, and will no doubt show its appreciation'by greeting the band jvith one of the largest assemblages here in recent months. Aside from the music, another delightful feature of the evening will be an address by Major J. A. Harriman, who is traveling with the players and speaking in the interest of the drive.
