OBITUARY.
Albert Fred Fechner was bom in Starke county, Indiana, Sept. 17, 1878. He received his early educational training in the public schools of Starke county, and at about the age of 25 came to Jasper county. As he was not attracted to farming he earned his living by blacksmithing, carpentering and painting. He was very kindly by nature and made many friends. After a prolonged illness that made him bedfast for the past four weeks, he passed to the eternal world on Sept 29, 1918, at the age of 40 years and 12 days. One sister preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn their Igss-one brother and five sisters and many friends.
