Evening Republican, Volume 21, Number 230, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 1 October 1918 — Exalted Men. [ARTICLE]
Exalted Men.
Hollow trees are always the stiffest, but the mightiest oak, if sound, can bend. The more exalted a man is by station, the more powerful should he be by kindness. There is no policy like since a .good manner often succeeds where the best tongue has failed. Politeness is most useful to inspire confidence in the timid and encourage the deserving.—Magoon.
