Mrs. Roger Smith, of Roselawn, came to Rensselaer Wednesday morning and in the afternoon she accompanied her husband, who had been in the hospital here, to their home. Mrs. Dan Williams, mother of the unfortunate child that died from the effects of falling into a tub of water this week, accompanied her parents to their home near Hebron Wednesday evening. Mrs. George M. Myers and daughter, Ella, returned from an automobile trip to Kewanee, DI., Tuesday, bringing with them Mrs. Myers’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.- A. Millan. They report a most delightful trip, and Mrs. Myers is very proud of the fact that she was able to handle the “Steamer’’ on so long a trip. » Mr. and Mrs. A. Harmon, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Harmon, Luella Harmon and Mrs. H. W. Kiplinger went to Pontiac this morning to attend the funeral of J. B. O’Malley, the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. A. Harmon, who died from the results of an automobile accident
Bert Viant, the hustling manager of the Princess and Gaiety theatres, went to Lowell this forenoon. He said he had received a ticket from the Lake county conscription board which was good for a round trip to Berlin, and that he was going home to make out his application for a berth.
