The Daughters of the American Revolution will meet with Mrs. A. P. Burton Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock M ,~This is regent’s day and a full attendance is desired. Mrs. Clarence Bowman left today for Montesavo, Wash., where she will visit her mother and sister. She may remain in the west until her husband, who is now in France, returns to the States. IP - - L Harry B. Murray, the popular mail carrier on rural route number two, has been sick 1 since last Thursday. His route is being served by John G. Hayes. Mr. Hayes carries his route, number one, in the forenoon, and Mr. Murray’s route in the afternoon. Mr. S. G. Hand, the Remington banker, and his wife went to Chicago today to attend a convention of bankers. Mr. Hand reports that Carpenter is at work on the Fourth Liberty Loan drive. That over six hundred letters have been sent out, and that the people are expected to come in and subscribe. *
