Mrs. Dollie Morton left Thursday of last week for the camp in Georgia Where her husband is stationed. Thomas Clark and family spent Friday night at the home of H. C. Anderson. ■ ~ Will Stiers, wife and son Mamilton and sister’s children came Saturday and returned to their home at Valparaiso Sunday evening. J. H. Culp and wife visited with their son at Camp Taylor over Sunday. Joseph Moore, of Ch’cago, made a short call at the lom • of his sister, h’rs ?• .Bender, Suiday afternoon. Trustee Thompson and wife of Monon were out driving through this neighborhood Sunday. Rev. Olin Stewart and family were here visiting relatives the latter part of the week. He delivered a fine sermon at the Lee church Sunday evening. The neighbors had « surprise on Mr. and Mrs. Ewing Donalson Sunday. They will soon leave for New Jersey, where they think the climate will be more agreeable. ’ ■ O, E. Noland and wife called on Sam Noland and wife Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Sam Noland has been feeling real poorly again. Sam Jacks', Joseph Stewart, Roy Bussel land Rev. Olin Stewart attended a business meeting at Barkley Sunday forenoon. Orval Warren returned to his home in Louisiana Monday. He is to go to a trainig camp on Thursday. Misses Laurel Anderson, Thelma Noland and Millie Hoover are attending institute in Rensselaer this week. The sale at Mr. Donalson’s Tuesday was wel lattended. The Lee Ladies’ Aid served lunch and cleared $13.05.
