Mrs. Ida Huffman and her daughter Ellen, who had been the guests of Peter McDaniel and family, returned today to their home in Miller’s Grove, Illinois. Mrs. Kirklin took her daughter Mildred to Logansport today to leave with her sister, while she takes up teaching again. She will teach near Francesville. - - - Mr. and Mrs. John I. Gwin returned Thursday evening from Portland, Oregon. On their way home they stopped at Jamestown, N. D., near which place they own a farm. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Conrad and son Eugene, of Logansport, and Mrs. Fred Newmaster and daughter Ellen, of Cincinnati, Ohio, are the guests of the families of A. E. and Nelson Shafer. Linn Parkison, of Lafayette, came to Rensselaer Friday evening. He returned this afternoon with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Parkison, who will spend Sunday with I Attorney. W. H. Parkison and family. James McGlinn, of Canadian, Texas, is here for a short visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John McGlinn, and other relatives. James came to ■ Kansas City with four loads of cattle i and while there decided to come on to .Indiana.
