MUSICAL CONTEST TO OPEN.

This year the Sisters will open a contest for the music pupils, to begin Sept. 9th, and to close in June, 1919. Two prizes will be awarded. The, first, a beautiful gold medal, to be given to the one making the greatest progress during the’ year; and the second, a silver medal, to be awarded to the next best. At each lesson the grade will be placed on the pupil’s report card according to the lesson rendered, and at the close of the contest, the two having the highest averages respectively, Will be the prize winners. Beginners as well as advanced pupils have an equal chance to win the prize. All those who wish to enter the contest must register on or before Sept. 9th.
