The dance next Saturday night, September 7th, at Konovsky’s Hall. The music will be furnished by the old reliable three-piece Curtin Orchestra. Come and have one of them old-fashioned up-to-date social dances. Mrs. Thomas McKee, of Chicago, visited here last week with her mother, Mrs. A. DerKinderin. D. C. Mallema, of Chicago, visited here Sunday and Monday with Mr. and Mrs. A. Pewestorf. Pete, Frank and Jake Luchene, of Hammond, were here Sunday on a fishing <trip. • About a dozen from here attended the Kankakee fair last week. Miss Sayre, of Chicago, was here visiting with Mrs. James Tabor a few days this week. Mrs. DerKinderin and daughter, Mrs. McKee, visited Saturday at Shelby with Mr. and Mrs. Bert DeVries and family. - ... A. Pewestorf and wife made nis usual Sunday visit with John Demuth and family at Kersey. Chas. Amstein,‘Jr., of Chicago, visited here Sunday with his parents. Harold and Mlatt Boswinkle, of Hammond, visited here Labor day with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Boswinkle. Maxine and John Petry, of Lowell, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fuller.
