JASPER COUNTY TEACHERS MEET
ANNUAL COUNTY TEACHERS' INSTITUTE CONVENED MONDAY FORENOON. The regular annual session of the teachers of Jasper county convened this Monday forenoon and will continue for five days. County Superintendent M. L. Sterrett has appointed a'reporter and the Republican will endeavor to give this important meeting much publicity. These meetings are always a very great inspiration, and the county superintendent, teachers and instructors would be pleased to have the public attend as much as possible. The township trustees are in session today, and they will attend the institute as much as possible this week. So many of the young men are away at war that the session is made up very largely of women. The morning session was devoted to a short music period by Miss Todd and a lecture by Dr. Krebbs, of New York. Dr. Krebbs is a jolly speaker and quite entertaining.
