Maude Scott returned today to Chicago where she will again be a teacher in the schools of that city, which begin Tuesday. Miss Scott had spent the summer here with her mother, Mrs. A. C. Scott. Mrs. T. G. Wynegar, Thelma, Jean and Robert went to South Bend this morning. Mrs. Wynegar and the boys will visit relatives for a few days and Miss Thelma will enter business college in South Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Easterday and children went to Kankakee, 81., this morning. Mr. Easterday is taking a week’s vacation, and besides visiting in Kankakee they expect to spend a part of the week in'Chicago, Nellie Walters, of Bisbee, Ari-, zona, returned from Lafayette this morning and will continue her visit here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Kepner, until the last of the week, when she expects to return to her home.
