ATLANTA NEWSPAPERS RAISE PRICE TO 5 CENTS

Atlanta, Aug. 27.—80th Atlanta afternoon newspapers, the Journal and the Georgian, jiave announced the street sale price will be increased 'Sept. 1 from 3 to 5 cents for the daily editions and from 5 to 7 cents for the Sunday editions. The Constitution, the only morning paper, remains at five cents for daily editions. Sunday editions will be increased to seven cents. Lieutenant A. Wasson Coen returned to Chicago this afternoon after a short visit here with his grandmother, Mrs. J. M. Wasson, and other relatives. Lieut. Coen has been an instructor in the Fourth Officers’ Training Camp at Fort Dodge, lowa. He expects to be sent across in a very short time and may be in charge of a group of colored men.
