Walter Feldhaus on the J. J. Lawler farm north of Pleasant Ridge, reports that he had twenty acres of oats that averaged eighty-six bushels to the acre, and that his entire hundred acres of oats averaged sixtyeight bushels. He had seventy acres of wheat that averaged thirty bushels and his one hundred acres of corn promises a yield of better than fifty bushels to the acre.
