One of the worst things that can happen to a girl is to get credit which

she knows is undeserved. The girl who is marked 100 in her recitation because she happens to be called on for the only paragraph with which she has familiarized herself, is quite likely,to congratulate herself upon her “narrow escape," but, as a matter of fact, she has no reason for complacency. She can make no more disastrous mistake than the assumption that she can purchase success at less than the cost price.
