HANGING GROVE.

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Ann Robinson was held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. R. Phillips in McCoysburg Saturday afternoon. Services being conducted by Rev. Strecker. Burial was made in Osborne cemetery. Mrs. Robinson was one of the early settlers here and had established a very wide friendship, as evidenced by the large number of friends that gathered to pay tribute. Those from away who attended the funeral were Frank Peregrine, of Valparaiso, Chas. Peregrine and son Don, of Tefft, Mrs. Jane Baskum and daughter, of Knox, and Charles Bussell, of Hammond. Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Cochran and family visited relatives in Benton I county Sunday. I Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ringersen and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Coehran went to I Michigan City Saturday to visit; friends over Sunday. Sam Cook expected to begin j threshing bi* wheat Monday. ■
