“DUKE” FARRELL IS NOW UNITED STATES MARSHAL

Charles A. Farrell of Marlboro, noted major league baseball player and known on and off the diamond as “Duke” Farrell, has been appointed a deputy United States marshal by United States Marshal Mitchell of Boston. For the last three years Farrell has mached the New York team of the American league. |S Since the war started he has wantedto do something for the government and he feels that knowledge which he has picked up In his many years of traveling with baseball teams and meeting countless people will be a valuable aid to him in his new work.
