CULL GROWING PULLETS
A flock of growing pullets . nearly always contains a considerable proportion of birds very much under size or In other ways poorly developed. Most poultry keepers are inclined to keep these until the flock is culled at maturity. It Is much better to cull them out as soon as they are marked as conspicuously backward. In war time,s with feed scarce, ’ press of other more important - work is the only excuse for let- . ting them remain. They will 1 never make a profit, and the ’ sooner they are eaten the less ■ will be the loss. Even where I foraging is good it flops pot pay • to keep them.
