MARINES IN TRAINING AT MARE ISLAND ARE TAKING LESSONS IN FRENCH LANGUAGE

The marines at Mare Island, 'Cal., are receiving training in “parleying Francais,” especially baseball Francais, so that when they get to France they will be able to play the Frenchmen at their own game. The marine baseball team takes lessons on the different phrases of baseball.
