IF A WATCH IS WEARING APPAREL, THEN HE WINS
Wichita, Kan. —Is a watch wearing apparel? That is the question that John Lewis, a Wichita furniture dealer, has asked the courts to decide. Lewis has the business in his wife’s name. He has been sued several times lately. 1 In one suit his watch and all the money that he happened to have with him, 50 cents, were attached. Lewis, through his attorney, claims that the watch is wearing apparel, “adornment,” ancT cites the Century dictionary . for proof.
