THRESHERMEN HOLD LARGE MEETING

Albout two hundred farmer threshermen held a meeting in the court house Saturday afternoon to talk â– over the harvesting of the large crop of wheat and oats which bids fair to mature in the near future. County Agent Learning presided at the meeting and Attorney Abraham Halleck gave some advise as to the liability of threshermen for injuries received by their employes. Others gave interesting talks and the meeting was full of enthusiasm. The matter of labor was discussed and a committee was appointed with John Bill as chairman to co-operate with the men of Rensselaer on this important matter. A full account of the meeting will be given by Mr. Learning in his regular issue of interesting notes.
