.Mayor C. G. Spitler went to Chicago this morning. Agnes and Louise Cedarwall went i to Frankfort this morning to visit! with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dickinson, of Remington, took the train here I’or Chicago this morning. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Gleason, of Liberty, returned to their home this morning, after a visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Reeve went to Louisville this, morning and will spend the week-end with their son, Joseph, who is stationed at Camp Taylor. Mrs. J. C. Beckman went to Lafayette today to spend a few days with Mrs. D. A. Beckman and mother. Mrs. Thomas Stein, who has been visiting relatives here, returned to her home in Harvey, Hl., this morning. She was accompanied home by Mrs. Harry Shumaker. First Sergeant Raymond C. Roy arrived here yesterday and will spend a twenty day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Roy, of south of Rensselaer. Serg. Roy is now stationed at Camp Dix, New Jersey and after being in a number of states in the east says that Indiana certainly looks good to him- He will leave for France soon after returning to Camp Dix.
