NATURE HELPING TO WIN THE WAR.

This most wonderful spring has produced a large amount of garden food and it is being offered for sale by the merchants of the city. Why not order peas, beans, lettuce, radishes, potatoes and the many other excellent foods and let the government have the meats and other articles it needs. These garden foods are the best to eat during the summer. The greatest crop of strawberries ever raised in this county are now being harvested and everybody should arrange to use the largest amount possible of them. The berries are delicious and are enjoyed by almost everybody. Remember you can help win the war at your table and your wardrobe. To refuse to help in this way makes you a slacker and an enemy of the boys “Over There” and humanity. We are in it, let’s win it. Come across or the Kaiser will. Be a man behind the man behind the gun.
