WAR SUMMARY.
Raids and heavy bombardments in all the major sectors of the FlandersPicardy front in the last twenty-four hours add to the significance of Premier Lloyd George’s announcement that “we are on the eve of a great German attack.” • French troops have won an important local Success southeast of Montdidier. The Paris was office today announced that the German line was “penetrated” near Canny-Sur-Matz, which is just northwest of Lassigny.
