10,000 NEW SILOS IN INDIANA
The greatest silo building campaign ever launched in any state was started in Indianapolis two weeks ago when several hundred representatives of the State Council of Defense, County Agents, Emergency demonstration agents, representatives of the County Food committees and of various farmers’ organizations met in an enthusiastic patriotic gathering. Ten thousand silos will be built before fall. Every county has its definite quota. Every township and every county will be thoroughly organized, and wil include a careful census, personal solicitation, silo tours, and publicity through newspapers, posters, etc. The quota for your section of Indiana by counties is shown below.
