Hospital supplies. i 24 comfort bags made 'by Junior Red Cross, 7 quilts made by Junior Red Cross, 1 knitted slumber robe made by South Marion Consolidated school, 24 pairs of socks. I Materials for making hospital garments have arrived and the cutting committees are working regularily, so that those ladies desiring sewing can now be supplied without interruption. i We are notified that there will be 1 some delay in the shipment of yarn and it will be several days before the orders can be filed. i Directions from headquarters say 'to make no more afghans of quilts. Congestion in shipping make it necessary to cut down the bulk in production wherever it is possible.
