By all means let any community, be It large or small, secure as large a building as possible for Its important civic edifices, bnt let the members of the committee, as well as Individual citizens, make every effort toward the Intelligent expenditdre of their money. Let them remember that a large building of poor or mediocre design is far less a credit to the community than a small building which Is a model of harmonious, appropriate and wellstudied architecture.—Boston Herald.
