ANOTHER RED CROSS GIFT.

Mrs. John Martindale, Nina Martindale and J. D. Martindale gave a lot in the northeastern part of town to the Red Cross with the stipulation that is must net the Red Cross $125.00. Today Charles G. Spitler sold the lot to Marion Cooper for $135.00. This entire sum will go to the Red Cross as Mr. Spitler has agreed to make the deed, the abstracts an'd take care of any other expenses. The excellent sentiment that prevails in this .community is sure to make Saturday a Red Letter day and we predict that the auction sale and other functions will net this beneficient organization a sum in excess ,of $2,000.00.
